Local-first collection storage

Core collection records and photographs are stored locally. A collector can deliberately initiate local-network synchronization, export or backup. Automatic account-based cloud synchronization is not currently available, and an account is not required for core offline use.

This website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection and request information, which may include your IP address and technical traffic data, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. We have not added analytics or advertising scripts.

This static site has no analytics, tracking scripts, external fonts, accounts or live submission service. The feedback demonstration saves text only in this browser after you choose Save local draft. Copy and export are deliberate actions. Clearing browser storage can remove a draft.

Sample screenshots show synthetic collections and original sample artwork. No personal collection photographs or private inventory are used.

Backups are your responsibility

Keep complete backups outside the device that holds your collection. Verify that a backup can be restored before relying on it. Current collection backup archives are not encrypted; protect them appropriately. Synchronization is not an independent backup and can propagate changes.

Future optional services

Optional account-based metadata synchronization, entitlement recovery and user-controlled cloud backups are planned. Each needs clear consent, security, deletion/export and recovery behavior before activation. Photo transfer on a local network is part of the existing manual sync workflow; optional cloud photo storage remains future work.

Getting help

Existing invited testers should use the contact method their inviter provided. No public support address or guaranteed response time has been established. You can prepare a local draft on the Feedback page, but it is not delivered to the developer.

Policy and support development

Confirm the responsible publisher and contact details, actual hosting/log retention, jurisdiction, legal policies, accessibility process and any future feedback processor. Add the reviewed notices before collecting public submissions. No address, email or legal entity has been invented for this draft.

Business identity

Worth the Folly is the application name. Dingleberry Digital LLC is the intended future business name; legal registration has not been established. This is the official Worth the Folly website. No trademark clearance or legal business registration is claimed.
